On 1 September 2011 Allenwest Wallacetown changed its name to Ampcontrol UK Ltd trading as Ampcontrol Allenwest.
Why change to Ampcontrol Allenwest?
Allenwest Wallacetown has been a Member of the Ampcontrol Group for 4 years. The decision to rename Allenwest Wallacetown to Ampcontrol Allenwest has been made as part of a strategic plan to maximise Ampcontrol’s resources and synergies for the benefit of our many customers globally. The change will enable our customers to deal with one brand that can offer total solutions around the world.
Who is Ampcontrol?
The Ampcontrol Group is a leading international supplier of electrical and electronic products to the power, energy and mining sectors. With strategically positioned operations around the world, our products and services are internationally recognised.

What will changed?
From September 1 2011, Allenwest Wallacetown changed their business name to Ampcontrol UK Limited trading as Ampcontrol Allenwest.
The re-branding process will occur in a staged approach over the next 12 months and will include brochures, stationery, advertisements, signage, exhibition material, product labels and packaging and the website.
What will remain unchanged?
The current range of products will continue to be developed and supported. The products will remain the same (except for the brand aesthetics) with no changes to their function or usage. Our repair and service functions, commercial agreements and sales channels will remain unchanged and continue to provide effective efficient service for your needs.
How does the migration take place?
From 1 September 2011 Allenwest Wallacetown will commence trading as Ampcontrol Allenwest. Rebranding of all marketing collateral and products will take place in a staged approach over the next 12 months. For environmental protection reasons we have made a decision not to scrap our current stock of Allenwest product labels and packaging, as such you will continue to see the Allenwest brand over the next 12 months.
Will the rebrand affect the after-sales service, repairs or spare parts?
No, the rebrand does not impact the after-sales service, repairs or spare parts.
