TMLVU- Transformer Mounted Low Voltage Unit AW705 is a 3.3KV 1000A main outgoing unit. Suitable for direct connection to the secondary of a mining type transformer with flanges constructed to BS5067:1985.
Type AW705A has up to three outgoing supplies via adaptors suitable for half couplers. Other means of cable termination can be provided to suit customers requirements.
Four AWT20 protection systems are installed, one for each outgoing way to provide overcurrent, short circuit and earth leakage protection, and the fourth system to provide a common back up protection for earth leakage.
All protections are referred to the incoming transformer HV circuit breaker (TMHVU)
