The AW2000/T7 Air cooled flameproof power transformers are utilised as part of the distribution system in an underground environment. The three phase air cooled transformer has a rating of 1.5MVA with a primary voltage up to 6600V and secondary voltages to suit the specific application.
The enclosure and covers are a mild steel welded construction complying with EN50014:1997 and EN50018:2000.
The interior houses the three phase transformer core and coil.
Flameproof flanges complying with BS5067:1985 are provided at each end to accept the fitment of the associated high voltage and low voltage protection switchgear.
The product could be designed in low height to suit customer space and height limitation requirement.
