It’s an exciting time for Ampcontrol as we are experiencing a period of rapid and sustained growth which has resulted in establishing a Brisbane based engineering hub.

Our engineers provide superior products and services to all of our market sectors including Surface & Underground Mining, Power Distribution, Energy, Oil & Gas/Petroleum, Defence, HVAC & Environmental Monitoring, Tunnelling, Industrial and Infrastructure.

We are looking for Electrical Engineers with design, estimating and project management experience in the mining and HV power distribution industries.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform detailed design and documentation of projects for manufacture or overhaul of substations, transformers, switchgear and circuit breakers
• Providing electrical engineering support and project coordination across a wide range of projects and industries
• Conduct a range of specialist workshop and onsite functions including protection engineering and earthing, as well as PLC / SCADA programming and calibration
• Deliver site electrical engineering services (testing, commissioning and installation), product training and customer service/product support
• Prepare budgets and tenders; liaise with customers, as well as assist with pre-engineering, sales follow up and participating in progress reviews
