Allenwest Wallacetown are leading designers and manufacturers of Flameproof (FLP) and Explosion Protected Apparatus (EPA), primarily for use in the potentially hazardous areas of Coal Mining, Off-Shore and Petro-Chemical Industries.

From its base in the UK the company has a global presence through its subsidiaries in China, Russia and South Africa in addition to a network of distributors and agency representation located in key customer markets. Flameproof and Explosion Protected Apparatus has been exported to over 50 countries where safety and reliability of both product and supplier is critical to the end user. The Company's history of manufacturing Flameproof and Explosion Protected Apparatus reaches back to the 1920's when the technology concepts of FLP equipment were first being recognised.
